  Moderately strong aromas of blackberry and dark cherry; medium bodied (relatively light for a zinfandel), crisp, a bit tannic, and flavorful; predominant flavors are strawberry, blackberry, and white pepper with an initial hint of coconut, which gives it a somewhat unusual and pleasing taste. Medium to long finish. Quite a good value.

  earthen tone and more reserved than expected. Had good secondary characteristics. Moderate finish and tannin, this wine falls under "better than expected" category. Still very enjoyable and i would buy this. (but didn't, i opted for chardonnay)
