One of the better Malbec's that I've had in some time. Big and powerful with a fruity nose and a deep garnet color. Several family members agree with this description.

Mature red and dark berries, herbs and spices on the bouque and palate. Good contration and depth. You just feel the well integrated oak on the nose and palate. Medium+ acid and tannins. Good balance and complexity. Long lenght. A bit closed and polished Cahors.

100% Malbec (from the 3rd & 4thterrace and the plateau). Aged 18 months in 50% new, 50% single use French oak. Decanted. Scented with above moderate notes of dark cherry, blueberry, cheese danish, vanilla, cocoa, spice, crushed rock, meat and a lingering floral component. The palate showcases precise-focused acidity, fine tannins, and above moderate concentration. Flavors show the blend of fruits; dark cherry, blueberry, marionberry, dark chocolate, brioche, baking spice, violets, no. 2 pencil, grilled meats and earth. The finish fades slowly. This will show best with food!

Pop and pour. Very drinkable, medium-bodied Malbec with no rough edges.
