Quick Coravin taste. Some good fruit, herbs and tannins. But a little closed and didn't go with our meatballs, so we picked another wine for that night. Maybe bottle shock? (had recently arrived) and/or needs a little bottle age or some air time.
I do think it will be good with the right circumstances / food pairing.
Good QPR at $19 / bottle.

The nose was dark and intense, showing wild florals and herbal tones, giving way to crushed blackberry, cherries, with lifting minerals and spice. On the palate, I found zesty dark red fruits with brisk acids adding juicy vibrancy, giving way to saturating spice with mellowing inner violet floral tones. The finish was long and spicy, with hints of fine tannins adding grip to resonating ripe blackberry fruits.

Better with some time, air and food. Pizza is a better choice than meatballs.
Probably even better with 1-2 years of bottle age.
A great deal. Wish I had bought more.

Fantastic QPR. Find it. But it. Drink it. Age it. For every night or even important nights to celebrate. A beautiful Tuscan wine.
