The nose is clean. The aromas have a light intensity and show generic floral characters. The wine appears youthful.
On the palate, the wine is dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol, and light body. The flavours have a medium(-) intensity and show notes of floral characters (blossom) and green fruit (subtle green apple). The finish has a medium(+) length, with a mineral note (oil) lingering on the palate.
This is a good quality wine. In its current state, the wine appears restrained; the aromas and flavours were not very intense. That said, the fruit was able to mask the alcohol (the heat from alcohol did not dominate) and had a good balance with the acidity. The wine did have a good length with the mineral note, which may actually be a secondary characteristic.

Canberra International Riesling Challenge (Albert Hall, Canberra): The appearance is clear and pale lemon in colour. Tears are visible.

19th Canberra International Riesling Challenge (Albert Hall, Canberra): sulphur, some almond pear, cream…juicy, fleshy with pear and sulphur on the palate. Short. Meh for me.
