  Considerable due dligence ahead of the 2023 #AustrianSektDay ended up with Weingut Steininger’s glowing sekt on Cabernet Sauvignon (v16, 13.5% ABV) out of Langenlois - my first sekt based on CS, just showing just how great Austrian viticulture is when wisely selected. Deep golden in appearance with orange reflections, fine & broad pearlage. Nose brimes w expressive & intensive scents of cassis & cherries, backbone red berries - all in a ripe mode. Super-fresh palate, fully integrated acidity, rich, bright finish!
