Church Road - a journey of masterful craftmanship (Bel & Brio, Barangaroo): Blackberry, meaty, green peppercorns, peppery, charcuterie, almost stalk ash but not whole bunch. Juicy, fleshy, blackberry, tight, grippy tannins, slightly grainy texture, fruit persists, quite dense, finish with peppery spice and alcohol. I'm guessing time will help but this shows promise. Again for 175 AUD I'm not sure of the value - I'd rather have the Ogier Cote Rotie Village

New Zealand micro trip; 5/6/2019-5/9/2019 (North Island, New Zealand): More oak but medium minus intensity compared to the Grand reserve, polished blackberry and pepper, cream, plain chocolate. Tight tannins dominate. A long time to go of this.
