It’s a nice wine. Balance of oak notes, dark fruit, some savory notes. Air helps. Drank over 5 nights and it was still quite nice on day 5… probably peaked on 3 or 4.
Tough sell at this price point ($55) though. I get that it is more expensive to make wine in the east coast of course, but that doesn’t change the fact that this could be matched by at least some $20 BDX blends from other places.
