Deep purple in color with blackberry, strawberry, plum, spice, leather, and slight green pepper on the nose. Medium to high tannin and medium acid. Leather, spice, and blackberry on the palate. Loaded with fruit, but missing balance.

James Suckling 91 -Mendoza, Argentina - "Plenty of violets on the nose of this ripe and well-structured cabernet franc. There's attractive, velvety texture on the medium-to full-bodied palate, thanks to the rather fine tannins that support it nicely through the long finish."

This one started out just okay. It had a sharp finish initially and not a lot of complexity. It opened up and mellowed out the longer the bottle was open, but am on the fence whether it is a rebuy.

Bitter first tastes, grows on you by 4th sip. Needs airing

Good. A bit disappointing. The predominant note is a bit of green bell pepper on the finish. A decent wine, but disappointing for the price.
