Pretty pleased with this, really. Offers all that you would expect from a Petite Sirah: brooding dark fruit, inky color, and sufficient tannic rigidity. But it balances sweetness and elegance rather nicely, has good acid, and is very drinkable. Hard to ask for more than that.

Well I've been saving this one aside for a time. It is dark deep, inky red in the glass. Let it breathe for 2 hours. It is so hard for me to do that, but it was worth it. Full bodied with medium acidity and medium plus tannins. Very well structured. Nice aroma of black cherry, blueberry and chocolate. Tasting is Devine. Very smooth and rich with fruit and vanilla taste. Has since kink for the finish. I enjoyed this over two nights, once with pulled pork, steamed veggies and apple slices. This petit Sirah was excellent with the pork. On the second night I had it with fried chicken and caprese salad, which also was a fine pairing.

Drinks much better than a $9 petite sirah. Lush, rich berry and spice, long finish, rather dry finish, alcohol warmth well hidden.

Heavy hitting for the price point. Yes, a little constructed and hot, but would have guess Carlisle blind. Long jammy finish.
