As advertised - nose is promising with red and black fruit with slate and graphite typical from volcanic soil. Pours inky into glass, ruby red to garnet color. I believe this is medium sweetness, certainly not dry, low tannins, med - acid, med alcohol, leaner texture, not a lot of complexity. Could pair well with lighter fare. Would drink sooner than later, not likely to get better in cellar.

Full of fruit but tastes rather flat and ordinary. Neither tannins, nor oak are very noticeable. Not my style, and though a good wine, for me it is not worth the higher price it commands.
