  Interestingly the inner part of the cork was darker in color than the wine. This entry level Pinot for this winery that was started in 2008, is a light, clear, and easily transparent strawberry color, with an initial pour inclusion of a small smattering of either sediment or tartrate crystals in the glass.
  The nose initially shows a hesitant yet concentrated cherry cola aroma, when brought in with a slow and metered inhalation.
  The mouthfeel is clean, with a medium light viscosity, accompanied by a brilliant acidity, and lip puckering tannins, appropriately balanced, that buoys, at this point, indeterminate and ethereal sweet fruit flavors that dance one dimensionally on the high areas of the palate, giving way to a lower palate appreciated earthy and strangely Indian spices on the finish, not unlike a feel and flavor of fine dust tasted on a warm summer day while riding a bicycle behind an old pickup truck on a Georgia dirt road.
  This is a light, pleasant, and uncomplicated well made Pinot Noir, that may perhaps benefit from chilling, and then drunk on a warm Summer evening. It is not an expression of this varietal that will challenge someone hoping for more. The score reflects the technical wine making aspect of the wine, and does not penalize this wine for its lacking expression of the hedonistic possibilities that can be found elsewhere in Oregan Pinot Noir.

  Duft: syrlige hindbær, tranebær, ribs, grønne æbler. En antydning af jord. 12/15
  Smag: samme friske røde bær, et urter indslag, måske stilke?, Yoghurt naturel, medium syre, medium - tannin. Slutter af på en lidt slikket note a la røde bolcher, på dag to mere spejderhagl. 16/20
  Overall: lækker let løbende pinot. Interessant nok, men kunne godt have haft et gear eller to mere. Fin til prisen. 7/10

  light/medium body pinot, definitely tastes like oregon with an earthy backbone. fruit and earth balances nicely, nice acidity. enjoyable and easily drinkable pinot.
