Enjoyed with Commis ** take-home feast. Trying to learn a touch more about burgundy from a background well-steeped in California everything. This was wonderful, and compared well with the comparably-priced CA Pinot we drink. Weight/mouthfeel consistent with our favorite CA pinots (Littorai, Rhys), but a dramatically different nose/palate. Dark savory herbs, moss/earth - but not funk. Best at cellar temp, and developed a bitterness as it warmed toward room, fixed when bringing it back down. Great balance, great with the food, fun wine.

Musique & Vin Pre-Concert Dégustation (Château du Clos de Vougeot): Walk around tasting. More red than black fruited with a Pommard mouth-coating textures, good enough weight with fruit just intense enough to hold up to the structure.
