This wine: No doubt this is a very old wine - 100 years... Deep garnet color and unclear appearance, extremely dusty aromas/flavours, caramel notes but surprisingly also still green bell pepper notes! The wine is till drinkable but has definitely past it's best and balances between "below average" and "good".

Probably 20 years past its prime. But so what? This is liquid history. Elements of tobacco, smoke, campfire and bright red fruits with forest leaves and a definite oxidative quality to the wine. It was drinkable. But the knowledge this was history was better than the wine.

Bern's. Nice wine, especially for the vintage. Not much complexity here, just they typical pretty Bordeaux that is showing age and needs to be drunk soon. Very reddish brick coloring here.
