  • Double decanted for regular wine group. Tasted blind. Spice box on the nose. Pallet is slight sour cherry with spice box. Some structure which should bode well for some future improvement.

  • Purple to the rim. Lots of black fruit up front some tannins to resolve but lush and full with a short 15 second finish.
    Improving as it opens and definitely better with food

    Look for some improvement with age. Will wait 2 to 3 years for my next bottle

  • This is the second time that I've had this beautiful wine. Everyone who had it that first night raved. As a result, I bought several bottles. Man, it's as good as I remember. Vanilla, dark berry, mostly blueberry beautiful spice and some baking spices.

    Nose: a plethora of dark black fruits, blackberries, cassis, black cherry,
    Palate: blackberries, black raspberries, a touch of brown spice, earth, wood, cinnamon, clove, sandalwood
    Finish: black raspberries, blackberries, a very delicate touch of sandalwood and clove.
    Comments: rich, luscious, full of dark berries and a smooth full bodied, velvety finish very nice. Decanted for 1.5 hours.
    Pairing Suggestions: garlicky chicken, grilled pork chops, pepperoni pizza, tampiquena, carnitas, lamb (any)
    Score in terms of Vintage: 92
    Score for the Wine: 93
    Value for the Money: Highly Recommended 😍
