  Overall, a wonderful example of a rich, well integrated, full bodied red from Valais and a testament to the great wines that are increasingly being made in Switzerland.
  Balanced wine with a medium(+) length. Beautiful lush fruit forward (black fruit - cassis and black cherry- and some stewed berries) on the palate with some well Integrated secondary flavors of vanilla. However, a slightly bitter aftertaste lingers in the fairly long finish. On the nose, blackberry jam, black cherries, capsicum and some clove and vanilla.
  Complexity is limited with fruit only marginally giving way to secondary flavors.
  Though there is a rich body and full structure here, I question how much this wine will benefit from age.

  Late Sep 2021: deep red purple color; in the nose prominent red currant notes accompanied by other red berry aromas; lush and opulent on the palate; soft tannins.
  
  Arguably one of the best Swiss red wines. Reminded me of a Masseto.
