Medium color. Nose is wet limestone, white fruit and lemon rind. Palate is rich, acidic and minerals up front and stays that way throughout. Nice long acidic finish. Allen Meadows notes seems spot on— there is something “zen like” about the simple clarity of this wine. My ex would say it has “depth without weight”— like everything is there but also nothing is flamboyant. I freaking love this wine. Day two and it’s still fantastic, even revealing a touch of coconut. I say it’s still opening with peak in 2025 but enjoy the ride now too if you have a few bottles.

Tasted after Les Grandes Charrons. More depth and complexity on the nose. A little smoky, spicy. Yellow fruit, citrus fruit, minerality. Fresh, powerful on the palate, mineral, good fruit. Very long and vibrant finish. 92-93+

Lovely.
Light gold.
Quite delineated orchard fruit flavors which eventually round out to more buttery nutty flavors.
Needs time

Pale; subtle, lovely, beautifully understated; well-proportioned, stylish, effortless, complete. Real depth, finesse & grace. Splendid.
