  • 14.5% alcohol, medium weight foil, composite cork; fast legs, very dark red; aroma of alcohol and cherries, strawberries; opened last night and tasted the following evening at approximately 12 degrees C after a night in the fridge, full bodied, fruit forward, notes of cherries, peaches, earth & minerals, also vegetables like carrots, tomatoes; something a little off in the background and finish, the wine weighs a little on the sides and back of the tongue; would not pair especially well with food, drink solo

  • Deep, dark reddish-purple in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, blackberries & plums with overtones of earthy/dusty & spice notes, cocoa, minerals, herbs, a slight hint of oak & vanilla in the background. Medium-full bodied with a good concentration of smooth textured & balanced, ripe fruit flavors of sweet cherries, blackberries & plums with cocoa, spices, earthy, herbs, minerals & some vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present & may develop slightly with aging, but perhaps best enjoyed primarily in its youth. A well made & fruit-driven bottle of wine which delivers at its price point; very good QPR as well.

  • 1h air and drank at a more proper temperature this time. Inky purple/ruby color. Medium-Full body, round tannins, creamy texture, silky. Red and black fruit. Solid QPR for a weekday wine.
