Fresh cherries on the palate. V light smoke? Delicious now not sure it’s going to get better. “Smashable”? Drunk at 13-14c and all the better for it. V enjoyable

The first hours after opening, the cloud of fine-grained but wet ash-like tannins was definitely too dominant for me. After more hours in glass and bottle (replacing the cork was never an option on the first night) and on the second day, the delicacy and freshness of the berries took over and the wine was dramatically better. But I had expected more from a 1er cru like this, like a kind of depth or herbal pinosity, if you please.

Great perfume and red fruit with subtle earthy notes; the wine is acid driven with no real trace of oak or heaviness. Natural in style but still with a serious edge. Drinking now but perhaps a little early...
