Had this as part of the July 4th festivities...it done good! Agreed that the Syrah seems predominant, but it is nicely balances, whatever tannins there were are pretty well resolved, leaving a nice near-term sipper that effectively accompanied tri-tip with a mildly hot sauce. Continues the Jeff Pipestone tradition of QPR Rhone Ranger wines.

A bit weighty mouthfeel....not sure but guessing the Syrah is bigger percent....lots of mocha and some anise.....reserve judgment til I can try other half bottle tomorrow.
