Interesting Ranchita Canyon Sirah from Talley's second label that is still alive and kickin. After a 3 hour decant, perfumed sweet black and blue fruit eminated from the glass. A frontal blitz of blueberry, with a blackberry edge followed by a touch of wild berry. This wine still maintains a sturdy structure and fine grain, drying tannins accented by sweet, chewy pipe tobacco. A well defined finish marked by noticable notes of iodine. An easy drinking Sirah that was a great wine club buy at $14. Drink now.
