  Tasted 2 years ago, alone, I gave 99.
  Open two hours prior tasting and served at 18 degrees Celsius.
  The wine is going more on the secondary phase, fruit is still there but with less focus than 2 years ago. I really enjoyed the bottle hitting the market, this one for me is quite evolved and confused. Tannins are getting dryer or seem dryer compared to my memories. Quite disappointing.

  Thursday evening in diessenhofen. Spending the evening with Hendrik. Deep ruby color. Vanilla, red cherries, Mediterranean herbs, olives, roses, beautiful nose. Med acidity, med body, med alcohol, med flavor intensity, dry tannins, med finish. Herbs, roses, orange, dried cherries, mushrooms, truffles, white pepper, very complex. Young but already beautiful 🤩

  Slow oxed for a couple hours. Light ruby on color. Nose of boysenberries and blackcurrants with anise notes. Clean palate, medium+ acidity, licorice and anise are prominent and lots of red fruits, black tea, if a bit undefined at the moment. Could be denser - the ending is a tad thin; tannins are prominent still, oak on the ending with some pleasant bitter herbal notes (just some). Very layered, complex wine that will surely improve with age.

  2015 Produttori & Friends (Nella Kitchen & Bar, Los Olivos, CA): Even more backward and compact than the Asili, with impressive purity showing through despite the need for more bottle age here.
