  Originally tasted 9/14/2019: At first a bit of funk on the nose, but that moderated with a little time. Also aromas of toasted coconut, grilled peaches, tart mango, and a touch of vanilla. Palate was medium in body, with prominent acidity. It had nicely balanced fruit, tasting of pears and apricots, with a hint of vanilla. The finish had a bit of zing to it. I think a year or so more in bottle will benefit this wine.
  
  Retasted 8/23/2020: The nose has definitely evolved, with caramel apple/buttered popcorn, grilled lemon, and ripe melon wafting thru the glass. It still tastes of pears, with some tropical fruits and notes of toast. It still has a nice ~30 second finish, which is a bit rounder than when first tasted last year.
