  • 93+ needs 2-4 more years for the oak to meld. Juice, balanced and delicious with a sustained finish. Enjoyable now but I’m going to give it some more cellar time to settle the oak.Opened up very nicely at the end of the bottle! Maybe selling this one a little short…

  • Pop n pour! Ready to go, in business! What ever it’s drinking time! I need to. Get busy I got like a case of this wine, thankfully so!

  • Very much accessible, with a brief decanting. Not the most structured of Corison's historical vintages, with more upfront fruit (floral and blue berries dominate) and some softness in the mid-palate. Probably best enjoyed over the next three years or so (Galloni's window of up to 2035 seems overly generous to me).

  • Via coravin but drank within about 3-4 days. Kept going back to it. I'm pleased I opened this. It was a good reminder to me to avoid putting a wine on a pedestal and avoid opening it until the perfect occasion. This occasion was a Friday eve after a long week. The bottle was just really tasty. Drink now or hold for a few years. I'm not particularly convinced it will improve but that is not a criticism it is just my comment on how approachable it is now. This is surprisingly light on the palate yet concentrated. There's a lovely floral edge to the wine (agree with roses mentioned below, this quality emerged after about 20 mins in the glass) which I have never encountered before with Cab Sauv. Balanced, fruity, interesting, drink with or without food, no complaints whatsoever, get stuck in.
