  I actually had to visit KJ.com to see whether this was un-oaked, as it doesn't say so on the 2017 bottle. It still has that familiar KJ Chard flavor, which I no longer adore (maybe I just don't love Chards in general that much). But this wine is pretty heavy for a white, one glass will do ya. Went well with food, but not a sipping wine. I guess I was expecting something more in line with what I've tasted from WA or OR on the stainless steel fermented Chard: more fruity, lighter, crisper, tart apple, yet with the round Chard mouthfeel. Not what I was expecting, and I won't be repurchasing.

  Since we like unoaked Chardonnay, this is pretty good. Could use more acidity and fruit favor. Had a bit of melon and stood up to swordfish. At this price we will buy it again.
