Nose of plum, spices and a bit of sage. Plum and blackberries on the palate. Good structure carried on tannins that are noticable but not intrusive--nice balance. A medium finish with a hint of mocha. Great wine for $10.

What a great wine for under $10! There was ripe fruit, good color, and a nice balance. I would put this up against a number of Shiraz wines in the $20 - $30 range with confidence.

Good, though a bit basic for a "reserve" wine. Blackberries and sweet spices. Lots of fruit, but by no means a fruit-bomb. A touch too sweet for my liking. Not bad, overall, with some decent balance. Was expecting a little more in quality and substance, but I can’t complain too much considering the sub-$10 price I paid. Still, I probably wouldn’t buy this again – many better Shiraz options are available around this price-point.

Notes taken 1 hour after opening. Nose has sweet raspberry, strawberry bubble gum, vanilla and oak. Very big fruit driven palate, not much complexity, just lots of ripe fruit with some oak on the back end.
Certainly not a bad wine, it paired well with sharp cheese. I'd call it a safe wine to serve to friends not into wine.
Day 2 is consistent with day 1 with just a little less fruit and a bit more oak. This has held up surprisingly well for the price.

Smooth, fruit forward, without guile or complexity but still for the price a pleasant experience.
