PnP. Inky purple with dark garnet edge in color. Nose of dark berries, plum, tomato leaf and white mushroom. On the palate: dark fruit, stewed plums, five spice powder and sweet earth. Tannins are grippy, perceived on gums and cheeks. Long, astringent finish of dark berries, wood spice and sweet earth. Carmenere is imparting most of the flavor at this stage (which I find enjoyable). Fantastic QPR.
