Sweet and cloying. Not unreasonable at a sub 20 $ price point, but notwithstanding the cost component, this is not a wine I would normally choose to drink over other even less costly options. Overall taste is of sweetness and crude tannins. This bottling has some cab franc to give it a little acidity but its a bit disjointed.

Dark garnet color with mahogany overtones. Jammy nose. Medium body with ripe fruit on palate. Alcohol (14.5%) does not intrude. Moderate tannins and low acidity. Supple, "smooth" mouthfeel. Not complex but appealing. Ready now.

This is a simple red blend from California. Showing black fruits with tobacco, toasted oak, vanilla, chocolates and coffee.
Full bodied with medium acidity and long legs.
A nice everyday red. Good by itself or with food and good right out of the bottle. A good party wine.
Might benefit from a year in the bottle to calm down a little.
The problem is that I drank like 4 glasses, and didn’t even notice it, so watch out. 😃
I paired it with cheeses, olives and crackers.
A blend of Syrah, Cabernet Franc and Zinfandel. Aged for 6 months in French oak barrels.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
87 Points.
$20.
