Medium to dark ruby. Dark cherries, red flowers, some spice, dirt, mineral. Deep and layered albeit primary, structured with high acidity. Feels like something holding it from fully expressing the potential that is hiding there. 92-93

Wonderful nose showing the underlying fruit. More structure and tannin here. (More of the fruit went into this wine than into the reserve in 2915)

Thanksgiving week in Piemonte; 11/22/2019-11/30/2019 (Milan, Barolo, Alba, Barbaresco): A small taste, compared to the wines at Borgogno this seemed to have a darker fruit profile. Very young and primary, but well structured and restrained. Will need time, but at less than $40 it seems to be a good value in Barolo.

Piedmont II - better and learnings; 11/23/2019-11/29/2019 (Barolo, Alba, others): Initial reaction was higher alc than what we'd been drinking. It's darker in style. Some fig. Somehow it all integrates with time and at that point I enjoyed it. Agree some more age could help.
