Light red and light to medium bodied. Strawberry and earth nose. Good red fruit, toasted almonds, some late appearing tannins, a bit of leather, and a tart cherry finish. A nice daily drinker, if a bit overpriced.

14.3% abv. 34% Grenache, 33% Mourvedre, 33% Syrah. This drank beautifully with a meal of st louis ribs and roasted veggies. Focused and lovely with silky mouthfeel. Seemed like the Grenache and Mourvedre were at the forefront here but it was a seamless presentation of this blend. Love Larner fruit and consider it one of the Grand Cru vineyards of the Santa Ynez Valley.

Excellent. Just finished 2011 and this one shines.
Appearance - clear, medium plus ruby
Nose - clean, youthful, it’s still quite Cold and nose is not as fragrant as I would expect. Give Larry’s wine time with air. Red and black fruits and cedar.
Palate - delicious. Very vibrant on palate even cold. Red back and cedar. Feels balanced. I’ll come back on this one as it warms up. It tastes good popped and poured.

This was quite nice. As Larry often says - it needs air to really show its stuff. Fruit, earth, tannin, structure, and a nice middle weight.
