Wonderful and rich, without being in the least bit unctuous. Fine flavors of apricot, marzipan, orange peel. Whatever acidity might have been lacking earlier, is certainly present here. Nicely structured and balanced.

This matures in Gönc barrels for 4 years before bottling. This wine was a yellow orange color. 11.5% alcohol. The nose on this dessert wine was muted at first but opened up as the night progressed. Even then, the nose was never as giving as the bottle of 2000 Derszla 5 Put that we drank alongside this wine. Notes of creamy pear, apricot and as mentioned by another taster marzipan were present. I thought this wine needed more acidity to help balance out the sweetness. Additional aging would help. 90-91+ points.

Paired with creme brûlée. Deep amber color. Similar notes as the last time I had it. 90-91 points

Similar notes to those of a year ago. Added some weight since then. Lovely.
