My last bottle of the ‘16 MacLean’s Block, this is a super pinot. It’s still drinking well, with delicious (but not lush) cherries, and some spice and tartness on the finish.

The 2016 Maclean’s Block has been a consistent top notch pinot since I bought 4 or 5 of these a few years ago. Super purity of fruit with some tartness/grip.

One of the better PN from 2016
Blue fruit, bing cherry, cedar, Asian spice, herbs, some charred oak on the finish. A
I always find the combination of blue fruit and bing cherry to get me excited about a PN, and added to spice complexity. This is an exceptional wine.
