  This has opened up, one of the first 2005 that feels ready. Lots of fruit, mostly darker stuff. Some ginger and cloves. On the palate juicy and savoury. Good concentration, structure and balance. Medium+ lenght. Very nice!

  Dark fruit tones. Structured, young and still primary compared to the 90 Truchot. A little something on the nose I couldn't identify. Nice now, and probably for a long time to come.

  This was lovely. VLM is right about sense of sap and lift. Maybe it’s just me, but I found this still rather primary and with plenty of room for further development. Gorgeous raspberry fruit over vanilla - the oak influence is still a little pronounced for my taste and not super well integrated, but it couldn’t mar that beautiful fruit. Feminine side of Gevrey-Chambertin for sure. I think this still has a lot left in the tank, but it’s in such a sweet spot right not.
