Needs little time in the glass to show itself. Complex, pretty nose of Luxardo cherry, black currant, licorice, rose petals, and a touch of smoke. Silky and sensual on the palate, with notes of raspberry, ripe strawberry, plum, dried herbs, and barrel spice. The fine tannins and acidity are well integrated already, not too ripe or dense which I love about the 2017 vintage. This juice should continue to age and develop nicely.

Bursting with complexity on the nose and palate. I was expecting this to be shut down but it was an easy weekday drinker. Will gain complexity over the next 10+ years.

So much of everything! Open knit fruit, notably raspberry puree, strawberry potpourri, and fresh cherry, seductive terroir, very long and deeply satisfying. Enjoyed with my wife throughout an excellent meal of wild game meatloaf (mine) and duck (hers), to celebrate a special occasion.

Highly perfumed by sweet berries, umami, and savory elements. Impressive range, textural depth, and balance. The whole package. Quite forward, though showing medium plus acid. Spectacular!

Quite ripe and expressive on the nose. Dark fruit, spices, herbs, some floral notes. On the palate concentrated and juicy, well integrated tannins and acidity. Good length. 87-89
