Excessive oak overtakes all sense of place...to the point where this could be blinded as a New World Pinot. Unfortunate, because underlying material seems promising. Pleasant enough, but it doesn't taste like Burgundy/ much less Chambolle. Won't rebuy.

Nice, Chambolle character. Sappy Pinot finish. Showing oak still and there’s a whiff of vanilla at first opening. This is quite clean, balanced and modern. Only had their whites before, which I like without loving, and this seems in same category. One to drink but not seek out.
