  • My notes are very unsophisticated, so bear with me (or not - and be warned!). This is a tasty, savory wine, medium body, good finish. But I felt this needs aging (what seems a little obvious being what it is in a 2017 vintage). Even after 2h in decanter, it seemed still tight to me and the presence of alcohol a little excessive to my taste (I'm normally not much for it), which I'm assuming will be more balanced when it develops a more complex and open flavor.

  • Medium-bodied, soft, elegant and fruity, the fruit delivers a nice spicy, peppery kick in the plum and cherry finish. The wine is made from blending 88% Grenache, 10% Syrah and 2% Mourvedre.
