  Sødlig næse med garrique. Ret intens mørk frugt. Brombær og kirsebær blandet med frysetørret hindbær; sødlig i sit udtryk; men med høj syre.
  
  Rigtig dejlig vin - ren grenache, men ikke så feminin i udtrykket, som man finder i f.eks. Madrid.
  
  Lang og intens eftersmag. Høj kvalitet

  Chateauneuf-du-Pape le Pied de Baud 2017, Domaine Santa Duc
  Fra marken la Pied de Baud der har en blanding af grus og rødt ler i jordbunden - beliggende i den nordvestlige ende af Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Lavet på 80 % Grenache, 15 % Mourvèdre og 5 % Cinsault. Høstet i hånden, gæret naturligt og lagret på store foudres og amforaer af terrakotta i ca 18 måneder inden flaskning.
  
  Flot, kølig bærintensitet i duften med aromaer af krydderurter, lavendel og sort peber. Mineralsk, saftig og meget koncentreret i smagen med en lang, lang afslutning.
  
  Til kraftige retter med lammekød, oksekød eller vildt. Flot til juleanden og til det bedste på grillen.

  Colour is surprisingly light - certainly the new style for this domaine. Intense kirsch-nose, high acidity, light in style, some tannin - could have went for nebbiolo, if served blind. Needs time. 91+

  Decanted 45 min. Purplish red, long legs, very fruit forward aroma with strong note of black currant, blackberries, medium licorice, light vanilla & crayons. Very fruity flavor, ultra acidic, light to medium body, low tannins. A stick-your-nose aromatic wine but also delicious.
