  Roses, red cherries, raspberries, tar and earth, high acid, very fine tannin

  Slow-oxed in the bottle in a cool environment.
  
  Ethereal nose with lots of floral aromas (dried as well as some fresh), sweet tobacco, red and a hint of purple berries, licorice, tar, lots of cherries, a little vanilla.
  
  Nice acidity and freshness despite the the warm vintage - grippy, but not overpowering tannins.
  
  More potential to come - hold.

  Pulled the cork on the bottle accessed by Coravin in March.
  
  Words cannot properly express the quality and tasting experience of this exceptional wine. The bouquet delivers Barolo's finest essences, with unique terroir twists, that shade to Barbaresco. Positively delightful!
  
  The palate, which aligns with the bouquet, rivets the senses with waves of powerful substance and layered nuance. Leaning slightly delicate for Barolo, the expansive middle and gripping back change inflection many times over. The no quit finish invites long contemplation of all that makes life meaningful.
  
  A top QPR Barolo, in any vintage, regardless of price. This bottle had twelve to fifteen years of evolution ahead. Drink through 2045. 96-97.

  Dark cherry, cinnamon, Xmas spices, mineral. Seems a little too hot and ripe, but quite delicious.

  Dégusté à l’aveugle côte à côte avec Produttori del Barbaresco Montestefano 2015, discret au départ, pour se développer et s’ouvrir de belle façon, bel équilibre, fruit noir, tabac, rose, plus riche et plus profond que le Barbaresco. 91-92
  
  Tasted blind side by side with Produttori del Barbaresco Montestefano 2015, more depth and more wine for the Barolo, the Barbaresco felt thinner with less meat around the bone, dark fruit, tobacco leaves, roses, nice balance, good depth and great potential.
