I don't think I've ever had a wine that was so obviously Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Which is interesting because it's doesn't even have Grenache in it. The dark purple color. The smell of spice, garrigue and dark red fruits. Palate was all that and more with black cherries, blackberries and kirsch. Decently long finish. It was pop and pour but evolved over the couple hours we drank it. It's a really good wine, enjoyable now or in the near future

Floral and pepper red fruits pop in the nose. The wine is fresh, meaty, juicy and long on the palate with loads of dark, peppery, black raspberries and olives in the finish. The wine is made from 85% Syrah and 15% Mourvedre.
