Really close to 91pts but the artificial grape note that plagues many '17 Rhones still detracts. It is minimized by decanting so give it plenty of air. The other flavors are fantastic: lavender, blackberry, burnt sugar, rosin, chalky tannins. Always great QPR and definitely a producer to trust, I plan on loading up on the '19s when I see them

This estate's wines continue to outperform. Especially for the price (<$18), it is simply an astoundingly good Rhône red, with everything done in the old-fashioned, traditional way, with very good farming practices. I buy this Vacqueyras every year, and have yet to taste one that wasn't good.

Like most '17s, this is purple and grapey. Has some savory notes of game and licorice. Needs to chill out for a couple years, afterwards should go down easy but has a low ceiling.

Pizza Mundo, youthful, peppery, some tannins, very nice, will age. Yum
