Heady, powerful nose of concentrated autumn fruit jam. Even after five years still noticeably tannic and highly concentrated. Although there is possibly a stalky aspect to it, it would be interesting to open this in 2030 and see what's what.

Pale garnet. Dark dried cherries and plums, violets, sous-bois, earth. Fully developed. Dry, high acidity, med- fine tannins, med alcohol, light body, med+ finish. Drink in next 12-24 months - fully mature and won't improve. Very good quality Beaujolais Cru.

Nothing to add to previous note. Lovely mature Beaujolais, drinking well now, but don't keep beyond the end of 2023.
