Quintessential southern Rhone. Dark berries, herbs, some meatiness, well-balanced. A little barnyard funk but not excessive. Medium-plus finish, medium acidity. Complex and satisfying. Compared to cheaper Rhones: longer finish, better balance between sweet and savory, nice meaty edge to it.

A nose redolent of dark berry pie. Moderate acid, firm tannins. Palate brings more dark berry, red apple peel, and lots of stony mineral. Solid though unremarkable.

Earthy, tobacco, smoke, and dark fruit on the nose. All of those flavors also follow through to the palate, with the tobacco and dark fruit flavors shining through. Medium/full body that finishes dry and with a delicious aftertaste that lingers a bit

Dark juicy berries backed by garrigue and a hint of brett that is just enough to add interest. Good structure of abundant fine tannins and well balanced with acid.

Drank at home. The wine is smooth and easy to drink, with bright colour, ripe red and black fruit, silky tannins and nice acidity, medium body and finish. If you let it breathe, you also get darker flavours, an earthier and heartier character with a few inky and graphite nuances. Very good quality, a wine to start and finish your lunch with. The interesting thing about this wine is that you can choose (depending on the breathing time) which version you want to drink.
