  • Same as last time: wonderful freshness, exotic fruits. A pleasure to drink. Needs 1 hour decant. Still young.

  • Via coravin. Wonderful deep yellow color, elegant nose. Takes ca 20 mins to open up fully. Wonderful lemon and vanilla notes combined with more exotic fruits like pineapple, lychee. All elements in harmony, good concentration. Medium to long finish with some saline and freshness. Already in a good spot right now and I guess it has easily 5-8 more years.

  • I'd probably save my money for something more unique in the retail $80 range, BUT in the $30 clearance world, this is exceptional and I come out ahead. Intensity, concentration, texture, and assemblage that I'd generally have to shell out for. Drink this at a warmer cellar temp to get the full effect.

It smells like vanilla spiced lemon poppy seed coffee cake with cinnamon crumble. The mouth introduces tropical accents - lemon meringue, sweet pineapple, and starfruit.

The texture is a tight rope act of melting cream and acid - ying and yang, fair exchange.

  • Bright pale yellow. Lovely nose of white flowers, melon, and some stone fruit. Interesting flavor progression as a peachy/stone fruit start is quickly followed by mineral and acid tones that build and subside to return to stone fruit and melon. Very long finish. Lots of good stuff going on but a touch disjoint to me as it seems to fail to reach its potential. But bought at a clearance at $30 it is a bargain. Better and more integrated as it warms. Best near 60 oF IMO.
