This is a classic expression of white Burgundy, emphasizing elegance and finesse over power. It's a wine that rewards contemplation and pairs well with lighter fare like grilled fish, roasted chicken, or cheeses. While still enjoyable now, it has the potential to age gracefully for several years, developing further complexity and richness.

Pale golden color. Slightly oxidized nose with lemon, ginger, some diacetyl, vanilla and oak. Palate is fresh, medium acid, and has just a touch of oxidized notes. Ginger, slight spiciness, green apples and lemon zest, with minerally finish. Kind of generic and forgettable white Burgundy.

Light gold color. Pear aroma with hint of oak. Rich fruit entry progresses to ripe, round white fruit mid-palate. Adequate acid for balance. Mild vanillin notes in finish. Delicious now, but will easily hold another year. Supposedly made from young vine Puligny Montrachet.

Green apple, lemon, and gravel in the nose. Mouth hits you with subdued lemon, mandarin orange, and minerals. Nicely acidic, and a great food wine. It stood up well to the earthiness of the mushrooms in our chicken Marsala. Great value.

In the nose it´s like a Puligny: Citrus, minerals and a little oak. Taste also like a Puligny. Okay, it´s a bit short in the mouth, but the cost is 1/3 of most standard Puligny and a 1/4 or a 1/5 of a 1. Cru Puligny.
A "Puligny" for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: I will buy more!
The wine looks greenish gold colored.
