Terrific bright, freshness. Stone fruit aplenty on the nose with hints of almond and dough and even saline. Light bodied palate with a candy like sharpness to the acidity. Clean and fresh throughout. I'm quite surprised this was disgorged back on 07/24/2018. Maybe it was edgier back then. This is a drink today wine to me, none the less. I don't see the fruit density here to gamble on development. It's just so inviting right now anyway. Very nice and looking back, very a nice value at $45.

Super tasty. Delicate and balanced all the way. Absolutely gorgeous and sexy wine with different tuna nigiri selections. Red fruit dominant with toasty apple notes. Very enjoyable. Will drink again! Drink or hold.

From the green clay in the village of Cuisles. One of my older Mousse bottles from the cellar, I didn't discover Cedric's wines until 2017. Since then, I have been buying a lot of Champagne, a lot of Mousse too, and am a devoted advocate for Cedric Mousse's wines. He has an effervescent spirit, he keeps cranking out great stuff and his work is thematic for what I think of for great grower Champagne. July 2018 disgorgement. This is clean and pure. Floral and citrus rind aromas and the touch of white pepper I found in the bottle I opened back in early 2020. Yellow apple, peach, grapefruit and a distinctly, long mineral finish. 5 grams of dosage although I believe Terre d'Illite is seeing even less dosage in more current vintages. I do think the dosage here in the 2013 vintage works well, rounding out the wine's acidity nicely.

Very nice wine, some nice meunier character with discernible dosage at 5g/L, but I’ve been drinking a lot of brut natures lately. Served with fried oysters and remoulade, the wine’s acidity played nicely against the fat, but didn’t have any truly outstanding features.

Very linear. Energetic, pure Granny Smith. Lives in the space to be drunk as aperitif or with food.
