Full, inviting aromas of cedar, minty herbs, tobacco, baking spice and still-fresh plum fruit. Smooth fruit with fine, silky tannin and plenty of juiciness. 1994 is such a great and classic Napa vintage, and this bottle is singing at age twenty-six.

A little better than the last one I had - possibly as I left it upright for few days before opening, so it was particularly settled. This had lovely blackberry fruit along with a classy dryness which made for a classic, dusty napa cab where the bottle age brought a real sophistication. This didn't feel over the hill at all, but was drinking great. Very enjoyable. Might be too pricey though. I think this is worth $50 but not more.

Drinking well, medium-bodied with a slightly salty feel. The fruit is fresh, not much of a savory tone. Pleasant enough and not over-the-hill yet. 92+pts.
