We hit the jackpot on pairing this with an Indian fish curry. Beautiful together. One friend called this his WOTN. Not sure a Gewurz will ever be that for me, but this one did great with the right food.

Gewurtz is a strange grape for me - one I can enjoy, but one that walks on the weird side. This sweet version stands out for its uncanny smoothness and richness. The mouthfeel is so round and luscious. It has the viscousness of an olive oil but none of the deadening flavors or a single off note. We enjoyed it with a spicy pork, ramen noodle, cashew, cilantro dish.
