Similar to my tasting note from last October. For those who love white Burgundy and don't enjoy California Chardonnay, you will enjoy this wine. While this had a little more oak and body on it than it did when I tasted it last, it is still a great ringer for a blind tasting with Burghound friends.

Pulled the cork and allowed the bottle to further chill from my walk-in's temp and breathe in bottle in the fridge.
An hour later there's lemon, Plumaria and fresh cut grass on the nose. Nice acidity on the palate, you can taste oak, crushed stone, lemon from the nose and green apple.
Dumol has consistently been among my few and favorite whites outside of burgundy; while I'd take this to be in its peak window, it still has several years before tapping out.

Wow! I purchased three more bottles of this to serve at some upcoming blind tastings to stump my Francophile friends. This is a dead ringer for Grand Cru White Burgundy. This also tells me to hold my younger DuMol estate vintages to allow them to age into something similar. Delicious!

Pop and pour. In the glass, pale clear white gold. On the nose, equal parts smoky oak and fresh squeezed lemon. On the palate, more of the same with an acidic bite as the midpalate rolls into a moderately long finish.

Slightly disappointed as the wine was fading. Flabby with little evidence of fruit. Low acidity as well.
