Salon Ficofi Paris walkabout tasting and dinner, no detailed tasting notes. "Vinotheque bottle", I guess that refers to a is the late release. From MAG. After all the top Champagne today I found this Cristal to be in the middle of the pack, not the top. Fresh, floral, fine bubbles. What I liked was its elegance and delicacy on the palate. Aromatically it was holding back though.

not blind Together with 2008. I would go slightly with 2002. Now more waffles and biscuit. No nougat. I think this will come in the next 5 years. Briallantly fesh and balanced. 96-97

Drank at Chambers with 3 other WineBerserkers. Shifter nailed the note. There is so much depth to this bottle, a clear step up from the original release.

On from the word go. Stunning melange of citrus zest, stone fruit, warm brioche, honeysuckle, and river rock on the nose. Palate is deep and rich, peaches and citrus, bright acid, rounding out with a hint of toast points on the long and expansive finish.

This was slightly darker than the regular cuvee with a slightly riper nose. Take the regular cuvee and multiply the intensity by at least 2.
It is certainly more rich in the mouth with gorgeously integrated acidity and great stoney length.
While seemingly at its peak (more so than the regular cuvee) this wine did improve after 2-3 hours of air.
In a word, stunning!
