Quite Tannic and Sharp at first, very aromatic with good aromas of Berries and a Subtle Mint, after Decanted about 4 Hrs, Tannins smoothed out and became quite soft, the aromas died down significantly,

Opened for 2 hours and served. Very floral nose but somewhat subdued. Appears to be in a fairly closed state. High acidity which needs to mellow out slightly. Pop in 2 years to see progress.

Pretty pale/medium garnet colour. Aromas of currant, orange rind, red plums, and interesting hints of red licorice and spearmint. Medium-bodied, lovely acidity. Tannins are still quite firm, but this is a very pleasant expression of Nebbiolo. Currant, orange rind, and cherry notes on the palate. Short-moderate finish, ~20-25s, with red fruit and dried flowers. Puts on weight and increases in complexity with several hours in a decanter. Lovely wine that will continue to improve. At this point, the nose is the best part. Solid 89 right now, but almost a 90.

Leather, dark cherry, rather dry and dusty. Drink up.
