  • Very pretty puligny on opening with a crowd pleasing palate. Excellent mineral spine but has surprising richness and depth from the vintage. A real succes among 2003's. Offers Limey Stoney cats-pee on the nose and good if one dimensional minerality on the palate with good amounts of hazelnut richness. Moved my score back and forth between 93 and 94 a few times.

  • Stellar! Far better than expected. The heat of the vintage is apparent as the fruit is opulent, round, and borderline new-world in quality. But there is no faulting this beauty that has lovely acidity as well hemming in layers of peaches, buttered almonds, and white flowers. The finish goes on for 20-30s. Not a long-term wine, but at the moment, pure pleasure. If someone doesnt like this, there is no pleasing them.
